Architectural elegance for the ventilated façade of the Politecnico di Milano, Mantua campus.
In 2025, the Mantua campus of the Politecnico di Milano selected L’ALTRA PIETRA COLOSSEO Bressa 60x150x2 cm (23,6"x59"x0,8") for the renovation of its exterior envelope, installing a high-performance ventilated façade in sintered stone.
The project features a custom 60×150×2 cm (23,6"x59"x0,8") format, chosen to provide visual continuity and a refined architectural rhythm across the historic building.
The natural grey surface of COLOSSEO Bressa blends seamlessly with the warm tones of the original façade, enhancing the contrast between the stone plinth and the plastered walls above. Subtle tonal movements and delicate mineral details give the building an elegant, robust and contemporary character.
The ventilated façade increases energy efficiency, improves thermal regulation and ensures long-lasting protection. The sintered stone surface offers exceptional resistance to UV rays, humidity, frost, pollution and temperature variations, making it ideal for urban settings and institutional buildings.
A project that demonstrates how innovation and heritage can coexist, with a material that ensures durability, aesthetic coherence and technical performance at the highest level.
