Residential urban spaces, Sanchong – Taiwan

In 2025, in New Taipei City, within the Sanchong District (Taiwan), the outdoor paving in sintered stone of a contemporary residential complex was completed using a coordinated selection from the L’ALTRA PIETRA collection: Colosseo Basalt Grau, Colosseo Quarzite Svedese, Colosseo Luserna Bagnolo and Colosseo Silvergrau, in sizes 30x60x2 cm (12"x24"x0.8"), 15x60x2 cm (6"x24"x0.8"), along with custom elements.
The intervention covered pedestrian paths, entrance areas, green zones and connections between buildings, creating a continuous and modular outdoor paving system that integrates seamlessly with contemporary architecture. The layout reveals a dynamic installation pattern, defined by linear bands and controlled chromatic variations guiding movement and enhancing spatial perception.
The mix of formats and grey tones generates a refined urban design: slabs alternate compact surfaces with subtle textures, recalling natural stone aesthetics. The result is a stone-effect porcelain slab with a strong yet balanced visual identity, perfectly suited for modern architectural contexts.
From a technical perspective, the 2 cm sintered stone paving ensures high performance: frost resistance, UV stability, anti-slip properties and high load resistance. Ideal for high-traffic urban spaces, it guarantees durability, safety and low maintenance over time.
