Urban Area - Carpi (Italy)
In 2025, an urban development project was completed in Carpi for the redevelopment of a public area. The intervention enhances pedestrian routes, crossings, rest areas and drive-over surfaces with a technical, orderly Sintered Stone paving, well integrated into the urban context.
The project uses L'ALTRA PIETRA products in Sintered Stone, selected to combine strength, practicality and contemporary aesthetics. The installation alternates light and dark tones, creating a sober and dynamic geometric pattern with a visual effect close to natural stone.
For this urban development project, 5CM PAVÉ LAVICA SAND and 5CM PAVÉ BASALTO were used in the sizes 20x20x5 cm (8"x8"x2"), 10x20x5 cm (4"x8"x2") and 40x60x5 cm (16"x24"x2"). 6CM NERO was used in the size 10x10x6.5 cm, (4"x4"x2.6"). The light shades bring brightness to the pedestrian paths, while the dark inserts create rhythm, contrast and visual continuity.
