Public Park - Besozzo (VA)

In 2024, the public park of Besozzo (VA) underwent a full landscape requalification focused on three key areas: the paving of pedestrian walkways, the stepped seating, and the entire water retention basin.
The project was completed using L'ALTRA PIETRA Etna Light Grey 40x80x2 cm (24"x24"x0.8") and L'ALTRA PIETRA Etna Dark Grey 40x80x2 cm (24"x24"x0.8") sintered stone slabs, chosen for their durability, technical performance and natural aesthetic appeal.
The interplay between the lighter and darker shades creates a refined visual balance, enhancing the soft curves of the basin and the architectural shape of the steps. The paving appears continuous, uniform and elegant, while the dual grey palette brings depth and movement to the layout without overwhelming the natural surroundings.
The retention basin, fully clad with Etna slabs, presents a neat, durable and contemporary appearance that integrates seamlessly with the green setting of the park. The central walkway that crosses the basin offers a safe, slip-resistant surface, ideal for an area constantly exposed to water and weather.
The terraced steps, also constructed in Etna Light Grey and Etna Dark Grey, define a harmonious open space where materials and landscape blend perfectly. The chromatic alternation accentuates the lines and geometry of the project, resulting in a modern and visually striking environment.
