Piazza Giovanni XXIII – Corsico Italy
A new urban identity with L’ALTRA PIETRA Colosseo Luserna Bagnolo.
For the Municipality of Corsico, an important urban redevelopment project was carried out in Square Giovanni XXIII, the heart of local community life. The project included the installation of a new outdoor paving in sintered stone by L’ALTRA PIETRA Colosseo Luserna Bagnolo, chosen for its technical performance and the timeless charm of natural stone. Several formats, including custom sizes: 15x60x2 cm (6"x24"x0.8"), 20x60x2 cm (8"x24"x0.8"), 30x60x2 cm (12"x24"x0.8") and 60x60x2 cm (24"x24"x0.8"), were used to create a modular, dynamic and harmonious design. The surface faithfully reproduces the effect of flamed Luserna stone, ensuring durability, safety and aesthetic continuity.
The square also features the paving of modern water fountains, which perfectly integrate with the sintered stone slabs, creating a spectacular and functional visual effect. Today, the space stands out as a meeting place with a long-lasting, anti-slip, and low-maintenance paving solution, ideal for intensive public use.
Thanks to this redevelopment, Square Giovanni XXIII has become a benchmark of sustainable urban regeneration, where design, technology and natural materials merge into a result of great aesthetic and social value.
